Foster Homes
Fostering, in your home, is an undertaking of tremendous value and equal reward. It takes a village and we can’t help the animals without Fosters!
Wags to Riches relies on Foster homes to care for our rescues. We ask our Foster families to provide a loving home to keep a dog(s), puppies, cat(s) or kittens until their forever home can be found or until they can be transported to another rescue. We supply all food, cover any medical procedures and medications, provide supplies and toys, and help in any way we can while you foster the animal.
Sure, it can tug on your heart strings to let them go to their Furever Family. And we have had a few “Foster Fails” (when the Foster family adopts their foster animal). But as a Foster Family, you’ve been a part of their good life experience and now you can help another.
We never want our foster families feeling alone. We want to keep in contact with them (whether they have an animal or not). Being a foster is vital to our organization. We need to have good foster families and we need to keep them happy,
